The start of my biking days
I enrolled for motorcycle lessons to obtain a class 2b license way back in May 2004.
For those of you unfamilar with the licensing system in Singapore, here’s a brief introduction about it. The motorcycle license is divided into 3 catergories. The first is class 2b which allows the license holder to ride a less than 200cc motorcycle. After a one year probation, the rider qualifies for an upgrade to a class 2a license which allows the license holder to ride a less than 400cc motorcycle. After another year of probation, the rider qualifies for an upgrade to a class 2 license which allows the license holder to ride any motorcycle, regardless of cc. In total, a rider has to pass a traffic police (TP) tests before obtaining the license.
Today, I went for the TP for my class 2b license and I managed to pass on my first attempt. Boy, was I excited to be able to clear it. I have been waiting for this day for so long and finally it was here.
