DIY iPod nano lanyard

Another reason why you shouldn’t follow dubious DIY tutorials you find online and just pay that fricking $63.

I get this warning every single time I connect the firewire cable to my iPod nano and can’t turn it off without removing the cable;

Firewire connections are not supported. To transfer songs, connect the USB cable provided.

Plus the UHU glue fails. Now I’m stuck with a cut-up cable and no iPod nano lanyard. Any recommendations for a iPod plastic friendly glue?
