Lydia Sum 沈殿霞 Before and After

Recently, I watched a tv programme where Lydia Sum 沈殿霞 made an appearance to collect an award along with her daughter Joyce Cheng 郑欣宜.

At first glance, I could barely recognized that it was really her. Lydia Sum still had her signature hairdo but the once cheerful 肥肥 was nowhere to be found.

Ah! Too many storylines happening at different locations at the same time but regardless, I’m still a Heroes fan.

Addendum: I’ve been looking for a ‘Save the Cheerleader, Save the World’ t-shirt since forever. Anyone knows where I can get it in Singapore?

Heroes second season to officially may end at 11th episode

Claire Bennet

SHIT!

Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current “Generations” arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.

This totally sucks. Big time.

Addendum: It’s confirmed. Learn more about the ridiculous strike here.

Lydia Sum 沈殿霞 fainted in her flat

Lydia Sum fainted

Famous Hong Kong comedian and actress Lydia Sum Din-Ha, known to peers and fans as 肥肥, fainted in her flat at around 10.30am. Her family immediately called the ambulance and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong. Her daughter Joyce Cheng 郑欣宜 (her blog) accompanied her to the hospital.

As news of her being rushed to the hospital garnered considerable media attention, the situation at the hospital was extremely chaotic and the staff had difficulty moving her off the ambulance.
